Qualified industrial zones (qiz) are specific geographical areas, within the Arab Republic of Egypt, that enjoy exemption from customs duties when goods enter the United States of America, and companies established within these zones are allowed to enter the American markets without customs duties, provided that they meet the agreed and predetermined rules of origin, and the advantages of (qiz) in Egypt are varied; the advantage of easy access to the American markets-without specific quotas-is the most important, as well as the elimination of Customs and non-tariff barriers, other advantages of this agreement include low cost and the provision of many job opportunities, thanks to the additional advantages provided by trade agreements Egypt is considered one of the most suitable countries that offers countless economic advantages to the industries located within these zones, and the positive economic impact of the quiz agreement so far is the continuous pursuit of both foreign investors and Egyptian companies alike in order to be present within these zones and qualify their investments to increase their competitiveness and the size of their profits.industrial zones operating on the quiz system are located in Alexandria, the Suez Canal, Greater Cairo and the central Delta. new areas have also been added in Minya and Beni Suef.
